About the Book

You've fallen for your hot best friend. You want to tell him. But before you can, he leaves for L.A. after graduation to pursue his destiny of becoming a rock star. Carly Cabrerra has always looked up to her childhood friend Jake Harmon. His magnetic charm and to-die-for good looks have stirred something deep inside of her, an infatuation impossible to suppress. But acting on her feelings is out of the question - Jake is her best friend, nothing more. Jake has finally achieved rock star status. He has plenty of fame, fans, and beautiful women vying for his attention. His star is shining more brightly than ever and he is determined to relish every moment of it. With so many women to choose from, he has no desire to give his heart to just one. Finding herself in L.A., Carly hopes to finally confess her feelings for Jake. But it becomes clear just how much Jake's life has changed. She is a "nobody" in a sea of "somebodies". Can Carly overcome her own insecurities to reveal her secret? Can Jake release himself from inner demons that render him blind to the truth? Will the sizzling heat of physical passion ignite true love?
