About the Book

We all know the Miranda Lambert song the house that built me. We've all wanted to turn back time in our live before so we could get back to how we were before the world changed us. Sometimes you have to look for a port in the storm....or better yet a lighthouse to guide you Safe to Shore. When Aria Holt, better known as top selling artist Georgia Hayes, first went to Nashville to get her music career going all those years ago, songwriting was easy. She had more inspiration than she knew what to do with. Over the years, she'd gone from talented musician and songwriter to recording songs that other people wrote. When she headed back to her hometown, she had no idea what would come of it. After telling her label and her band that she was taking time off to try and write the song she'd been working on for months, they all thought she was crazy, but she knew that heading back home to Tybee Island was what she needed. When she got there, she set her sights on volunteering to help restore the legendary Cockspur Island lighthouse. She hoped that her favorite landmark would give her some inspiration even if it was just a shot in the dark. When she got there, she found her inspiration in the craziest of ways. When Tristan Starling chose to go to Tybee Island for the summer, he figured a little fun in the sun would be just what he needed. He had time off, he had the beach house that he'd dreamt of, and he had a ton of time on his hands. He needed a tour guide, preferably a local, to show him what Tybee was all about. Instead, he ended up looking for volunteer work after realizing that the beach bunnies and the tourists weren't his type. When he found the volunteer position working on an old lighthouse, he hoped that would help him meet a great person but ended up side by side with Aria day in and day out. Was it a good thing? Probably. Would it work? Only God knows. A little harmless flirting never hurt anyone right? A story about how a historic lighthouse brings a couple looking for inspiration together. It's amazing what a little history and a beacon of light can do......
About the Author: Sue Langford started out with a dream. She'd been writing since she was young and always dreamed of seeing her books in a book store. When she finally gave in and got her first novel published, it hit the racks and was snatched up by everyone. When she made her first trip to Nashville, she was completely hooked. From that point on, her books were inspired by one of her favorite places on earth. After a chance visit to the Country Music Hall of Fame, she became so inspired by a Patsy Cline exhibit that she turned an idea into a romance novel. Little did she know that the novel she wrote would be her stepping stone into the Country Music Hall of Fame and Museum bookstore. Her first signing there was for her addictive series entitled The Secret Series, inspired by one of her favorite country artists. There was a need to have people see celebrities for what they were - normal people with amazing gifts and blessings. She took it one step further with her Fantasy Series that ended up being her bestseller series to date. When she released Forbidden, people were drawn to it and couldn't get enough. With a little help from her friends, Sue is now working on her best series to date entitled the Choices Series. From Choose Me to The Choice to Choosing Goodbye, Sue surprised us all and made us start to see things so differently. Fueled by a love of the Nashville TV series, Sue has written a series that Nashville TV show fans, country music fans and Nashville fans alike are begging for - a book that tells the real story and makes you dream. In the future Making Choices, Sue has us all surprised with the twists and turns the story takes. Now with her new lighthouse series she goes one step beyond. Declaring herself the anti Harlequin, Sue carved out a niche all her own in the Romance section and has found more success than she could've wished for.
