About the Author: Rob Frye served in the NC Army National Guard for nearly two decades and is a combat veteran of Operation Iraqi Freedom. After retiring from military service, he completed his Bachelor's degree in Computer Science at Lenoir-Rhyne University, where he was the first honor graduate with a 4.0 overall GPA. Currently, Rob is the manager of ComeritLabs, in Huntersville, NC. ComeritLabs provides infrastructure, remote development, and training services for COMERIT, Inc. Rob is an experienced SAP BusinessObjects and SAP HANA developer and has delivered training on SAP HANA and the BusinessObjects toolset in the United States, Canada, Mexico, and South Africa. Joe Darlak, Senior Director of SAP Analytics at COMERIT Inc., has successfully implemented SAP BW at clients since 1998, including several large-scale, full lifecycle global rollouts. He has significant experience increasing the capacity, reliability, and performance of SAP BI systems, defining and implementing processes and controls to stabilize service and mitigate risk, and improving the competency and skill sets of implementation and client service teams. Recently, he architected one of the largest SAP NetWeaver BW migrations to SAP HANA on record and has been instrumental in defining best practices for SAP HANA at Fortune 100 clients. He is the lead author of SAP BW: Administration and Performance Optimization, published in 2014. Over the past decade, he presented at multiple conferences on various SAP BW performance tuning topics. He is a former principal consultant in the iAnalytics practice at PricewaterhouseCoopers and holds a Master of Business Administration degree from the McCombs School of Business at The University of Texas at Austin. Dr. Bjarne Berg is the senior director of BI at COMERIT, Inc., and one of the most respected and dedicated thought leaders in the BI market. Prior to joining COMERIT, he was a senior manager at PwC's global data warehouse group, the director of BI at VIP Consulting, and the VP of BI at COMERIT. In these positions, he managed multi-year BI and data warehouse projects for various clients .
