Bachelorarbeit aus dem Jahr 2020 im Fachbereich Germanistik - Neuere Deutsche Literatur, Note: 1,0, Universität Wien, Sprache: Deutsch, Abstract: Die Arbeit soll analysieren, wie die bewusstseinserweiternden Erfahrungen des Drogenrausches - insbesondere durch die Schärfung der Sinne - Einfluss auf ästhetische Überlegungen und somit auf Methoden und Verfahren des Schreibens, ergo die Poetologie, genommen haben. Als maßgebliche Primärtexte werden hierfür Walter Benjamins Essay Der Sürrealismus (1929) und Gottfried Benns Schrift Provoziertes Leben (1943) als theoretische Gerüste einer Poetik des Drogenrausches herangezogen. Als literarische Realisierung und Verarbeitung dessen sollen unter anderem Benjamins Erzählung Haschisch in Marseille (1932) und Benns Kurzprosa Der Garten von Arles (1920) in der Bachelorarbeit untersucht werden. Dadurch soll nachgewiesen werden, wie die sprachliche Darstellung der Rauscherfahrung realisiert wird und zugleich der poetische sowie politische Stellenwert des Rausches behandelt werden. Nachgewiesen werden soll dadurch die hypothetisch aufgestellte Gemeinsamkeit von Benjamin und Benn im Motiv des schöpferischen Rausches, eines "Rauschglücks" (WB Bd. 4) respektive der "Rauschmethode" des Schreibens. Das Forschungsinteresse gilt daher zusammengefasst der politischen und poetischen Funktion des Drogenrausches im Werk von Walter Benjamin und Gottfried Benn. Gegliedert ist die Arbeit in mehrere Teile: den Anfang macht die Klärung des Begriffes Drogenliteratur sowie eine breitere Darstellung der kulturgeschichtlichen Entwicklung derartiger Literatur - nicht bloß in zeitlicher, sondern ebenso in geographischer Ausdehnung. Hierfür werden weiters in zwei Unterkapiteln die deutschen Philosophen Friedrich Wilhelm Nietzsche und Ludwig Klages hinsichtlich ihrer Rauschauffassung befragt - mit der Zielsetzung ein Verständnis für Rauschpoetik zu bekommen. Daran anknüpfend werden die genannten Werke Benjamins und Benns durch dichtes Lesen in Bezug auf
