English summary: The aim of this study is to analyze the effect of different types of homework containing systematically varied elements on the motivation of those who are learning and to investigate the influence that motivation has on the effort that is made when doing homework and on the actual progress of the learner. It demonstrates that characteristics relating to the context and the required level have an effect on learners' motivation and that there is a cause-and-effect relationship between this motivation and two consecutive homework tasks. Thus an increase in motivation when performing a task has a positive effect on the level of motivation before processing the next task, while a decrease in motivation has a negative effect. Learners who attach a higher value to all of their tasks achieve greater learning success. German description: Hausaufgaben werden zumeist aufgegeben, um durch eine selbststandige und selbstregulierte Auseinandersetzung mit den Unterrichtsinhalten eine zusatzliche Lernzeit zu bieten, doch ein Effekt dieser zusatzlichen Lernzeit auf den Lernerfolg konnte bisher nicht nachgewiesen werden. Vielmehr spielen neben der Kenntnis und Anwendung von Selbstregulationsstrategien motivationale Uberzeugungen eine Rolle und beeinflussen die Anstrengung bei der Hausaufgabenerledigung. Die mit dieser Arbeit verfolgten Ziele sind die Untersuchung des Einflusses von Hausaufgabenarten mit systematisch variierten Merkmalen auf die motivationalen Uberzeugungen der Lernenden und die Untersuchung des Einflusses der motivationalen Uberzeugungen auf die Hausaufgabenanstrengung und den Lernzuwachs der Lernenden. Dabei zeigt sich ein Einfluss der Merkmale Kontext und Anforderungsniveau der Inhalte auf die motivationalen Uberzeugungen der Lernenden sowie ein Zusammenhang dieser Uberzeugungen fur zwei aufeinander folgenden Hausaufgaben. So wirkt sich ein Zuwachs der Motivation bei einer Aufgabenbearbeitung positiv auf die Motivation vor der Bearbeitung der nachsten Aufgabe aus, eine Abnahme der Motivation hingegen negativ.Lernende, die alle Aufgaben hoher wertschatzen, erfahren einen grosseren Lernzuwachs.
