About the Book

This book was written during my sailing over the Atlantic Ocean from Porto Rico to Slovenia. I sailed alone and hat lot of time to think about myself, about my life. I wrote day by day my story, how I fled 1965 Yugoslavia to avoid Serb military over the Adriatic Sea withe my friend on the dinghy with no outboard, rowing to Italy. How we crossed illegally the French border and to that time the most dangerous border in Europe from France to Spain, where the Dictators Franco's police arrested us and locket us for one month in political prison In Barcelona. About, how they brought us illegally back to France. How I crossed the borders and came to Germany. About my adventures like climbing the highest mountain in Europe-Mont Blank. About my first marriage in Gretna Green, Scotland, because my girlfriends parents banned her to go with me, I was foreigner, a second class person, a refugee. It is about my education in Germany and success in the printing Industry. I left Germany with a German Company and we started a new business in Toronto-Canada. I become Canadian citizen. Moved to Connecticut-US, got a Green cart and worked there as Graphic Arts Technical director for a large Company - the biggest engraver in US. I married four times.
