About the Book

Digler is a young man struggling to define himself in this world. He is much like any other awkward, somewhat introverted teenager. Only difference is, Digler is dead! Not dead in the traditional sense. You see, to die an unnatural death in the town of Evandale brings with it a new chance at life. A second life. Digler's death is anything but natural when he is sent plunging to his demise. Despite his somewhat good fortune Digler comes to find that not only is it hard being a dead high school student, not everyone is glad to see the too soon departed back amongst the living. If struggling for acceptance, attempting to remain optimistic about his unspoken love for fellow student Millie, and generally just trying to fit in wasn't enough of a challenge, it's live or die... again when an old evil is unwittingly awoken. Can Digler learn to accept who and what he has become? Can he and his friends stop the dark shroud of death before it cloaks the town forever? Geared toward a young adult audience this story is still suitable for anyone who has experienced that universal feeling of being a little different. Much of the locale is derived from several towns I have been. Olympia in Washington State being a great inspiration for setting as well as the sleepy little town Evandale in Tasmania, Australia. The characters in this book are patchwork conjuration's of different people I have met in my journey's, evolved for fictional purposes and are also heavily influenced by my own inner working's. My Frankenstein's monsters.
About the Author: I am an Australian born resident of the United states having ventured here several years ago through some globe trotting. My stay became a permanent one when I met the love of my life in the small Washington State town of Olympia. I've worked in media for more than 10 years focusing on all avenues of the creative medium. I've traveled the world soaking in the richness of other cultures, other ways of life and using such experiences to influence my creativity. I hope that it translates through my work into the minds and hearts of it's beholders. Thank you.
