About the Book

If you have ever wondered why from leadership to leadership (whether political or military) most African leaders have not been able to deliver on their promises of JOB FOR EVERYBODY. Then this book is for you! "In a generation that over Two Hundred Thousand (200,000) Fresh High Institution Graduates end up unemployed annually in one of the most populous nations of Africa, can any graduate create a different experience through access to certain personal JOB CREATION principles? The answer is in this book" In this book you will discover that "The Challenge of Unemployment is not Unemployment but the mental predisposition of the unemployed towards unemployment" In other words, the geographical location notwithstanding, even though, all over the world, the rate of joblessness is on the increase, a change in mental attitude can result in definite change in the life of the unemployed. "SHIFT: SCHOOL IS NEVER ENOUGH" is about the struggles of millions of the 21st century graduates who, after years of rigorous academic knowledge acquisition cannot differentiate between what it means to be educated and to be skilled. For many of them, been educated means batching all the A's and all the B's. Grades are good but much more than grades, access to practical and applicable knowledge of a course is much more important. Why? Because the system does not pay a man for his grades but for the solutions he can create using his practical skills; because in reality, grades are not marketable it is skills that we market. One major benefit of reading this book is that: It will save the undergraduate, the fresh graduate, the Youth Corper and the young entrepreneurs from the blame game, putting the control of their lives in their very own hands because within the pages of this book they will discover that "whatsoever a man does not make happen for himself, may never happen for him and whatsoever step he does not take to effect definite changes in his life, may never be taken" In other words, it will show you, ULTIMATELY that our life results are the product of our decisions.
