About the Book

Fatima died as the last stone cast by her father struck the seventeen year olds half-buried body. Her final painful moments were further saddened over not living to see and love her newly born identical twin sons. Sons who were separated after her death; sons who never knew they had a brother or that they had been adopted. One of the twins, Mahmoud was raised and educated in London by a wealthy Muslim family. The other Matafi grew up in the streets of Cairo and became the feared leader of a criminal gang. Based on his reputation he was brought into a terrorist group founded by an unseen entity named "Osiris". Osiris's goal was to convert mankind to his radical version of Islam. In Iraq a young army Lieutenant Rizgar al-Bashar, the son of a high ranking Iraqi general was sent on an inspection tour of Halabja, Iraq. Under a direct order from Saddam Hussein this city had been mercilessly bombed and gassed by the Iraqi air force. The scenes of horror he saw devastated Rizgar and resulted in his defection by entering the Sandhurst, Royal Military Academy. At the academy Rizgar befriended training officer Colonel Bryan Archibald, who quickly recognized Rizgar's outstanding intellectual and physical capabilities. Later he convinced Rizgar to become a double agent for MI6, where he was tasked to gather confidential information on the Iraqi military through his unsuspecting father and secondly to help take down the Osiris terrorist organization. The terrorists plan was to implement a series of increasingly deadly attacks against the western world. These strikes would culminate with multiple nuclear explosions in major cities leading to the demise of western civilization and the rise of an all encompassing Islamic state. A spellbinding novel, that ends with a dramatic sequence of unexpected events
