About the Book

At the height of his career Joseph 'Tom' Riach was one of the top sales producers in the UK. He earned over £20,000 per month in sales commissions! This book describes how he did it. It's not what you expect.

Tom asserts that the art of selling is remarkably simple. He sold to a staggering 95% of those he presented his solutions to! - far out-gunning all sales industry norms - thus demonstrating that simple is best and simple works.

Tom also realised that his methods could equally benefit all people in all areas of life, personal or professional, because good sales skills are nothing more than good life skills and practicing good life skills involves regular self-promotion - selling!

So 'The Simplest Sales Strategy' is born from his ambition to help all people and to coach both aspiring and experienced sales people in ways to achieve outstanding results through the application of his simple, easy to learn and employ sales practices; techniques which can be repeated over and over again in all situations.

This book delivers Tom's 'packaged', easy to understand method which can be employed in any selling environment - personal, trade or professional - and can be practiced in selling any goods or services and in all situations. From making that great first impression in personal life, to the simple retail sale and through to complex big ticket contract negotiations ... it's a universal solution!

What you learn will change forever your view of selling and completely revolutionise your life - as it has done already for readers all over the world.
About the Author: Joseph Tom Riach was born and brought up in the Scottish city of Aberdeen and educated at its famous Grammar School, as indeed was Lord Byron in a previous era. In young adult life Tom's passion and drive saw him quickly become self-employed and, as a business consultant and serial entrepreneur, he established, acquired and operated several small businesses. He soon realised that the success of these enterprises was dependant on the successful promotion and sales of the goods and services he provided and so concentrated his efforts on learning and practicing effective sales skills. Such was his success that in the late eighties, in his freelance roll as a Senior Offshore Investment and Corporate Planning Consultant with major London merchant bank investment arm Hill Samuel Financial Services, he qualified regularly as an international conference delegate and in 1989 became the leading UK producer of new mortgage business. As a result he was employed by several major companies to enlighten their sales teams with regard to his success strategies And what he taught them was how to excel in selling through employing the relationship building techniques and knowledge accumulated from his successful endeavours over a thirty year plus career in sales. It was somewhat inevitable therefore that Tom would in due course turn to writing about his lifetime of sales success in business and finance. He has owned, directed, managed, consulted within and sold within a host of industries and just about any type of business you care to name. Not un-naturally he has amassed an arsenal of knowledge along the way - and not a little wealth! Today he lives and works in the sunny south of Portugal, running his Wake Up leisure and learning breaks in which he schools guests on his business, finance, sales and life improvement strategies.
