He was also a post doctoral fellow at the University of California. He is also a writer of various national and international journals. His remarkable contribution to the Oriya Literature grabbed him a place among the writers of the Kendriya Sahitya Akademi. He was also the vice president of the Institution of Engineers India. Dr. T.N Tiwari was an emeritus professor of Physics at the NIT, Rourkela. He acquired his PhD degree in theoretical physics from the Sambalpur University. He also holds an expertise in Nuclear Physics from the Saha Institute of Nuclear Physics situated in Kolkata.
