Every clothes dryer has a special place where only socks can go-a magical place called Sock City, where no two socks are the same!
After a long day getting dirty while being worn at school, Knee Sock's owner Amelia puts her in the laundry. While in the dryer, Knee Sock meets her old friend, Vox Sock, a rock star in Sock City. Knee Sock is surprised to hear of her friend's life in this extraordinary place, and Vox offers to take her.
And what a wonderful city it is, filled with socks of all shapes, sizes, colors, and fabrics. There are cars, buses, streets, and bridges. There are buildings with offices, stores, libraries, and schools. There are even sports events, parks, and swimming pools!
Join Knee Sock on this magical adventure as she learns about the city's founder, Sockrates, as well as a fun-loving group called the Darn Socks, and discovers there's so much more to life than being walked on!
Sock City is the first adventure in The Darn Socks picture book series.
