Plötzlich springt aus der Ecke ein grässliches Monster, welches sich sofort durch drei gezielte Schüsse in eine blutig spritzende Masse verwandelt. Solche und ähnliche Szenen aus den sogenannten "Killerspielen" lösen bei vielen Eltern und Erziehern Besorgnisse aus. Besonders nach den tragischen Amokläufen und der vermeintlichen Zunahme von Gewalt bei Kindern und Jugendlichen stellen sich viele Eltern die Frage, inwieweit die Beschäftigung mit solchen Spielen schädliche Auswirkungen auf die Entwicklung ihrer Kinder haben könnte und sind unsicher, ob sie ihren Kindern solche Spiele generell untersagen sollten. Die unterschiedlichen Ratgeber vertreten ihre jeweilige Meinung noch vehementer als jeder Politiker und stiften eher Verwirrung als dass sie eine wertvolle Hilfestellung geben. Und so saß auch ich neben meinem sechsjährigen Nintendo-Wii-spielendem Sohn und fragte mich, ob es für seine Entwicklung schädlich sei, wenn er zunächst nur lustig irgendwelche Luftballons und Dosen abballerte, um dann später auch auf Aliens loszugehen? Als besorgte Mutter stellt sich dann die Frage, ob man selber ein wenig übertrieben ängstlich reagiert oder ob an den Befürchtungen etwas dran sein könnte. Vor allem wenn man selber der Generation angehört, denen immer eingetrichtert worden ist, dass jegliche Ausübung von Gewalt ein Tabu sei. Und auch ich gehörte bisher zu denen, die mit einem mulmigen Gefühl zusah, wenn ihre Kinder im Spaß mit Pistolen um sich schießen. Auch weigerte ich mich bisher strikt, irgendwelche waffenähnlichen Spielzeuge zu kaufen. Um diesem Problem also auf den Grund zu gehen, beschloss ich, mich im Rahmen dieser Hausarbeit damit eingehend zu beschäftigen. Eventuell wer
