Every word I trodded on got me ready to be absorbed into the present storyline yet, haunted to go for the erstwhile emotions evoked for my mind's refreshing again. There's fire sweetly burning on his carefully crafted diction chosen, the twists and turns, arriving at a replicated moment of sweet beginning. As a critical thinker you would be ushered into digging deep and deep into the happenings of betrayal and the unexpected spiced in plain wording to wake your sleeping emotions for more. And, one my favourite parts, is the rescue of the poor trapped mouse that led to a haven for the boy Yamba's nearly-narrow escape. I picked one sage home: giving help to the helpless may be effortless, but could lead to unseen freedom from a painless rescue. Beautiful crime, bargain, threat, suspicion your eyes would chance upon after expending your precious breath enjoying this book. In this journey of life: innocence sometimes plays the ignorance game, sparing no chances building more circumstances for traps and slaps as prey of circumstances. I learned a lesson or two from this book you chose to read Every coin has two sides: Bitter or Better? One can be smart in the wrong way. One can also be branded as a bile taste fighting for the truth. Others may choose the path for you, but the walk is yours. One reason, I am very proud of this book is the revealed great African traditions celebreating the rich heritage beautifully laid in the setting. In all these embellishments, your breath will be brought to a standstill, after an amazingingly beautiful discovery of the union between the boy Yamba and his father, who was his erstwhile foe. Writing this foreword I see it not as a task, but a testimony of a fresh young writer Paul Honkani who has basked onto the literary arena with his life to inspire young people to pursue their dreams in what they enjoy doing best. About the Author: Paul Honkani was born in the upper East region of Ghana. He developed the habit of writing at a young age and had written his first novel entitled 'Nameless Identity' at age thirteen. Unfortunately he was never published because of his economic background. He has written other books such as 'Naked Spirit', 'Where dowe go?' and 'Give me my drinking glass'. The sound of rain is his fourth book and the first to be published. He is full of leadership capabilities and has exhibited this by the leadership positions he has occupied from Basic, Secondary and Tertiary institutions he had attended in his educational career. He has headed several groups and organizations but sometimes prefers to keep anonymous.He has also worked with agencies that bring help and relief to the less privileged. Paul is an interesting person to interact with; He is multi-talented in various aspects such as music, art, sport and humour which makes him exceptional. At his free time, Paul likes to read books, listen to music or play with little children. He's lovely flow and unique style of writing makes the reader and even others who do not have the habit of reading want to read every bit of his work over and over again. He is currently a science teacher by profession and one of Africa's finest writers. As such, he is mostly referred to as an Icon of modern African literature.
