"The first thing I learned on the journey towards self-love was myself."
-Irony
Brooke Fisher believes, in a sense, that we are all seeds that will grow and produce something different in life. With the understanding that a balance of both sunshine and rain helps seeds flourish, Fisher shares a poetic glimpse into her own seed's journey while encouraging others to embrace the weathers of life while on their own journey toward growth, self-love, and discovery.
Within a diverse collection of poems, Fisher reflects on a variety of relatable subjects and themes that include love, lust, hate, addiction, abuse, sadness, relapse, acceptance, and growth while exploring the joys of new love, the bittersweet truth of unrequited love, the products of lust, why hate is more powerful than we'll ever know, why there must always be balance in life, why it is important to take care with our words, and why we cannot give our all to someone who is not obligated to us.
Sow. shares a volume of poetry that explores a young woman's personal journey of growth while providing hope to others that we are all here to love and learn.
About the Author: Thank you for your time. I am a young, 19-year-old author. I finished this book when I was 18 and I already feel like I am changing and still growing in my writing. It is endless the growth process. I started writing my book, because, I wanted to use my voice to help others. Before that, I used to feel like my voice did not matter. Overtime, I realized that was not the right mindset. People must speak up for what is right, I want to help people. I do not want anyone to feel like they cannot use their voice. If I can help one victim, one loner, one person who feels insignificant, feel significant again, then I am happy. I hope you enjoyed a piece of my heart and stay in touch. My next piece will be coming out soon.
With Love, Brooke
