Studienarbeit aus dem Jahr 2013 im Fachbereich Pädagogik - Kindergarten, Vorschule, frühkindl. Erziehung, Note: 1,0, Hochschule Koblenz (ehem. FH Koblenz), Sprache: Deutsch, Abstract: Seit August 2010 besteht für Kinder ab dem vollendeten 2. Lebensjahr, in Rheinland-Pfalz, ein Rechtsanspruch auf einen Kindertagesstättenplatz. Besonders Frauen und Alleinerziehende haben dadurch die Möglichkeit, ihre Berufstätigkeit wieder früher aufzunehmen. In den letzten Jahren hat der Wandel, bezüglich der Altersstruktur, die pädagogische Arbeit in der Kindertagesstätte verändert. Teilweise wurden die Gruppenstrukturen verändert, so dass die Zweijährigen in einer normalen Regelgruppe aufgenommen werden konnten. Dadurch wird leicht der Eindruck erweckt, dass die Kinder "verwahrt" anstatt betreut und in ihrem Lernen begleitet werden. Wirkt es sich da noch positiv aus, dass bereits die Zweijährigen eine außerfamiliäre Institution besuchen können, welche familienergänzend- und unterstützend tätig ist? Sie haben die Möglichkeit früher in Kontakt mit anderen und gleichaltrigen Kindern zu treten, wodurch die Entwicklung ihrer Sozialkompetenz beeinflusst wird. Es stellt sich jedoch die Frage, ob die Entwicklung positiv oder negativ beeinflusst wird? Und was bedeutet diese veränderte Rechtslage für die Kinder dieser Altersgruppe? Hat diese Struktur auch Auswirkungen auf die pädagogischen Fachkräfte? Die Praxis zeigt, dass die normale Gruppenstruktur häufig bestehen bleibt und somit die pädagogische Fachkraft-Kind-Relation nicht übereinstimmt. Es ist kaum möglich auf die individuellen Bedürfnisse der "Kleinsten" ausreichend einzugehen und den nötigen empathischen Umgang zu gewährleisten. Zudem ist in vielen Kindertagesstätten das Raumprogramm nicht auf Kinder dieser Altersgruppe abgestimmt.
