Studienarbeit aus dem Jahr 2021 im Fachbereich Didaktik für das Fach Deutsch - Deutsch als Zweitsprache, DaZ, Note: 2,0, Technische Universität Dresden (Germanistik), Veranstaltung: Grammatik im DAF/-DAZ-Unterricht, Sprache: Deutsch, Abstract: Wie, inwieweit und ob der Implementierung von spielerischen Aktivitäten überhaupt Grenzen - welcher Art auch immer - gesetzt sind und inwiefern DaF-/DaZ-Unterricht als Vorreiter angesehen werden sollte, wird in dieser Arbeit kritisch hinterfragt und neu beleuchtet. Sprache und Spiel - zweierlei Themen, welche nicht den Anschein erwecken, als hätten sie viele Gemeinsamkeiten - Dennoch stimmen in beiden Bereichen neben einer gewissen inhärenten Unumgänglichkeit im alltäglichen Leben von Schüler*innen egal welchen Alters, drei grundlegende Säulen überein: Rezeption, Produktion, Interaktion. Von Kindesbeinen an werden Menschen von spielerischen Tätigkeiten begleitet, um Zusammenhänge bilden und ganzheitlich verstehen zu können. Man könnte sich nun fragen, weswegen ganzheitliches Weiterbilden durch spielerische Aktivitäten bevorteilt wird: Die Ganzheitlichkeit zeigt sich in den meisten Spielen darin, dass neben dem tatsächlich Erlernten bzw. erprobten Beherrschen und/oder Wissen die Sozialkompetenz des Individuums sowie die Ablenkungsresistenz strapaziert, ausgetestet und mit genügend Wiederholungen trainiert sowie verbessert wird. In den meisten anderen Lernumgebungen sei darauf zu achten, Zweite eben nicht zu belasten. Jener Dualismus kann klar als Chance erkannt werden und wird glücklicherweise zunehmend in den verschiedensten Gebieten in- und außerhalb der Schulmauern genutzt. Warum also vor dem Spracherwerb Halt machen? Je jünger die Lernenden sind, desto höher ist das Potenzial, dass der Zweitspracherwerb - das Erlernen von Grammatik und Orthografie sowie der anschließende sachgemäße Einsatz ermüdend, langatmig und endmotivierend wirken kann.
