About the Book

Great Stories for Great Kids! All over the earth, people share the spirit with their children in the same way - by telling stories. Now, Spirit Storybooks brings home a gift of the world's most treasured and time-honored stories for all our children to enjoy and grow in spirit. In Spirit Storybooks, they'll make friends with everyone from Bamapama, the Aboriginal Australian hero who chased a kangaroo and discovered the sunrise, to Yima, the Zoroastrian "Noah" who helped save all creatures from the death of winter. Angels, goddesses and gods, and all kinds of animals - greedy monkeys, bumbling bees, terrible lions, beautiful butterflies and laughable coyotes - all live in these extraordinary tales. Jesus, King Solomon, Kuan-Yin, Krishna, Buddha and many others who have walked the path of spirit come alive in Spirit Storybooks, too. In Spirit Storybooks, children will see the world -- and themselves - in a wholly new light!
