About the Author: Miss Charlotte, also known as Charlotte Thistle, is a guitarist and songwriter with a lifelong love of music and dance. A student of ballet since the age of nine and guitar since the age of twelve, she enrolled in a professional dance school after high school-but at age twenty-two, an ankle injury caused music to become her primary focus.
Miss Charlotte is a graduate of Shoreline Community College, where she earned her associate's degree in music and won a contest to compose a new school song. She has toured throughout the Northwest as a songwriter and musician, releasing two critically acclaimed albums: A Girl With a Guitar in 2005, and Wild Wind in 2010.
Miss Charlotte had a daughter, Ella, in 2011 and currently teaches children's music lessons in Seattle, Washington.
