Paris is a state of mind. When I'm there, I feel more creative, invigorated and young at heart, free to relax and reflect. Jazzed, (no pun intended) I see a painting around every corner. I feel as energetic as a teenager, ready to walk all day and dance all night, drinking and eating whatever I want.
Sometimes, I fear I will never again feel that alive-and then I go back to Paris. Paris never fails me. Almost magically, I feel inspired and ready to tackle any obstacle. This is one reason I wrote this guide. I would love for everyone to discover my Paris. That's why I paint Paris almost every day. And that's why I curate a monthly subscription box-Passport to Paris.

About the Author: I'm just a Texas girl who discovered Paris on the eve of retirement. As an artist who has painted for more years than I care to count, I can paint almost anything and that's what I did after work and on weekends for stress relief and relaxation.
But once I fell in love with Paris, I wanted to paint only Paris. I use the finest materials I can afford and paint in oil on the streets of Paris whenever that's possible. Otherwise I'm in my studio daily, painting from photos I took in Paris.
My goal is to paint every day-practice makes perfect in any endeavor, but it's especially true for an artist. Painting Paris every day is inspiring my work, inspiring me to greater creativity and inspiring a lifestyle that feels Parisian wherever I find myself.
Welcome to my Paris! That's what I want to share. Living artfully, beautifully and meaningfully. It's easy to collect my paintings. Francophiles of all ages appreciate the skill and the slice of Parisian and French style embodied in each one. See my work at www.PaintingParis365.com.
