One day in 2012, George F. Arredondo asked himself a question-and found the answer rather startling.
A successful businessman with a full bank account, gorgeous home, and beautiful young family, Arredondo realized that if he had only one year left to live, he would want to spend it traveling the United States with his wife and two sons. And even more surprising, Arredondo realized that he was willing to walk away from his job and home to make that dream a reality.
After convincing his family to leave behind their comfortable lives in exchange for life on the open road, he found an RV, made extensive plans, and set off.
50 States 50 Weeks tells the story of the Arredondo family and the lessons they learn-about themselves, their country, and what's really important-as they travel from Northern California to Southern California by way of the other forty-nine states.
Full of humor and heart, these stories and anecdotes will delight the whole family...and just might inspire you to start planning the next family vacation!
