About the Book

A Collection of Inspirational No other living thing on our planet has had such an impact on human development. Standing tall in the service of mankind, these grand markers of life in our corner of the Cosmos, inspire us to look up and ponder our meaning. 'Stories with Trees' serves to remind us constantly of our place in the Universe and our responsibility to planet Earth - our one and only home. These stories are told in the hope that our noble friends will not perish because of humankind's stupidity. Because we are all one.
About the Author: Anthony Wesst (Born Reginald Wessels in Johanesburg, South Africa. 6 November, 1947) is an award-winning writer/ideator widely experienced the marketing, media, film, publishing and online space. Anthony Wesst spent his early career in Public Relations and Advertising positions with multi-nationals such as ITT, Wyeth laboratories and Ted Bates International, as well as forming his own advertising agency in the early 80's. He has conceptualised, written and directed concepts for TV commercials, promotions, documentaries and many corporate films, as well as numerous online ventures. An accomplished scriptwriter, Anthony has a number of screenplays to his credit and is currently engaged in a documentary series for Earth Corporation. He is also developing a series of 'books-with-music' for young children, with an environmental theme. His debut novel is to be released in the first quarter of 2016. 'Stories With Trees' is his first collection of short stories, intended as an inspirational anthology of trees engaging a dialogue about the human condition. A percentage of the proceeds will go to the children's programme of Earth Corporation. Anthony Wesst and his wife Patricia have two daughters and two grandsons. Besides his passion for writing, Anthony is an animal rights activist and dedicated humanist. His keenest interest is in the protection of those tall markers of life in our corner of the Cosmos, the trees of Planet Earth.
