Theodor Fontanes Romane zählen zur Standardlektüre in der gymnasialen Oberstufe. Standardlektüre wird dabei oft als lästige Pflichtlektüre verstanden. Dieses Vorurteil nimmt die vorliegende Arbeit zum Anlass, eine schülergerechte Unterrichtsreihe zu gestalten. Diese orientiert sich an den Lehrplänen der 11. Klasse einer gymnasialen Oberstufe, kann allerdings auch für andere Altersgruppen, Schulformen und -stufen verwendet werden. In ihrer Methodik und Didaktik ist sie bleibend aktuell. Hinter dem schülergerechten Ansatz steht eine Verbindung von handlungs- und produktionsorientiertem Arbeiten mit analytischer Textarbeit. Diese Arbeitsweise ermöglicht es allen Schülern, sich dem Text so zu nähern, dass sie die geforderten Lernziele erreichen und dabei zentrale Grundkompetenzen von Lernen generell und im Umgang mit Texten im Besonderen erwerben. Zur Autorin: Dr. Anabel Ternès ist promovierte Kommunikationswissenschaftlerin, Diplompädagogin und Diplomkauffrau. Zusammen mit ihrer internationalen Tätigkeit in PR und Marketing macht sie dies zur Expertin für zielgruppenspezifische Ansprache, Darstellung und Umsetzung von Texten und Sprache. Durch ihre langjährige Erfahrung in der Aus- und Weiterbildung verfügt sie über ein großes Repertoire an methodischen und didaktischen Aufbereitungsmöglichkeiten von Inhalten.
