Das Buch behandelt diskrete schwingungsfähige Systeme und beschreibt Analyseverfahren und Algorithmen zur Aufstellung von Bewegungsdifferentialgleichungen allgemeiner linearer Mehrkörpersysteme. Die Neuauflage vereint die Bände "Strukturdynamik I und II" (Gasch/Knothe) und legt im Bereich der numerischen Behandlung von Schwingungssystemen den Schwerpunkt auf die industrielle Anwendung. Das Buch wurde als Lehrbuch für Hochschulen und Fachhochschulen konzipiert, eignet sich aber auch zum Selbststudium für Ingenieure in Forschung und Industrie.


About the Author:

Prof. Dr.-Ing. Robert Gasch, Jahrgang 1936, studierte Maschinenbau in Darmstadt und promovierte bei Prof. Federn in Berlin. Nach seiner Habilitation arbeitete er bei der Kraftwerk Union (heute Siemens) und erhielt einen Ruf auf eine Professur für Konstruktionslehre am Institut für Luft-und Raumfahrt der TU Berlin. Fortan arbeitete er im Bereich Rotor- und Strukturdynamik. Seit Beginn der 80er Jahre forscht er auf dem Gebiet der Windenergie und lehrte hierzu bis 2001. Seitdem berät er Industriefirmen in Forschung und Entwicklung.

Prof. Dr.-Ing. Klaus Knothe, Jahrgang 1937, studierte an den Technischen Hochschulen in München und Darmstadt Bauwesen und Mathematik und promovierte als Assistent für Mechanik und Konstruktionsberechnung an der TU Berlin bei Prof. Giencke. Bis 2002 lehrte und forschte er als Professor am Institut für Luft- und Raumfahrt der TU Berlin auf den Gebieten Konstruktionsberechnung, Finite Elemente und Schienenfahrzeugdynamik. Im Ruhestand befasst er sich mit technik- und regionalgeschichtlichen Themen.

Prof. Dr.-Ing. Robert Liebich, Jahrgang 1967, studierte Luft- und Raumfahrttechnik an der TU Berlin und promovierte auf dem Gebiet der Rotordynamik bei R. Gasch. Er war danach in leitender Funktion im Entwicklungsbereich von Rolls-Royce Deutschland tätig. Seit 2007 ist er Professor für Konstruktion und Produktzuverlässigkeit an der TU Berlin. Er forscht und lehrt auf den Gebieten der beanspruchungsgerechten Konstruktion, Festigkeit und Lebensdauer sowie der Rotor- und Strukturdynamik.
