Masterarbeit aus dem Jahr 2018 im Fachbereich BWL - Marktforschung, Note: 1,3, Hochschule für angewandtes Management GmbH, Sprache: Deutsch, Abstract: Das Ziel dieser Forschungsarbeit ist es, die Akzeptanz kassenloser Supermärkte als Beispiel für die Expansion des Onlinehandels durch stationäre Geschäfte mithilfe neuer Technologien in Deutschland zu eruieren und mit den Erkenntnissen zur Schließung einer Forschungslücke beizutragen. Auf der Grundlage des formulierten Forschungsziels lässt sich folgende allgemeine Forschungsfrage ableiten: Welche Faktoren beeinflussen die Akzeptanz der Verbraucher im Hinblick auf innovative Zahlungsmethoden? Im Sinne einer digitalen Transformation gilt es, sich aufgrund stagnierender Märkte, steigender Wettbewerbsintensität sowie austauschbarer, homogener Produkte und Dienstleistungen durch einen entscheidenden Mehrwert und Zusatznutzen im Sinne der Verbraucher von den Konkurrenten abzuheben. Dabei müssen kundenmehrwertorientierte Leistungen entwickelt werden, um sich durch einen essenziellen Mehrwert abzuheben und die digitale Lücke vieler Branchen, in welchen die Kunden bereits digitaler als ihre Anbieter unterwegs sind, zu schließen, um den Wettbewerbern mit innovativen Geschäftsmodellen zuvorzukommen. Für eine erfolgreiche digitale Transformation und Differenzierung über Customer Experience mit dem Konsumenten im Mittelpunkt sämtlicher Aktivitäten steht insbesondere das Handelsunternehmen Amazon. Galt der deutsche Einzelhandel nach dem Scheitern von Walmart im Jahr 2006 lange Zeit als nationaler und von ausländischen Unternehmen nicht einzunehmender Markt, ist Amazon derzeit der perspektivisch mächtigste Einzelhändler Deutschlands. Über viele Branchen hinweg macht Amazon dabei auch dem Lebensmittelhandel Konkurrenz und rückt als einstiger Online-Pure-Player weiter in den stationären Handel vor: Nach einer einjährigen Testphase eröffnete im Januar 2018 der erste kassenlose Supermarkt Amazon Go.
