Las personas de raza blanca pueden sobrevivir en igualdad de condiciones en el Caribe y es necesario fomentar la entrada de ellos a Cuba.

La población africana entraña un peligro innato para la paz social y la supervivencia de la raza blanca.

Así lo afirma el autor:


Estas simples consideraciones nos indican cuan violento y peligroso es el estado de un pueblo en que viven dos razas numerosas, no menos distintas por su color que por su condición, con intereses esencialmente contrarios, y por lo mismo, enemigas irreconciliables. Y cuando para alejar el conflicto, que a todas horas las amenaza, hubiera debido ponerse el más constante empeño en dar un vigoroso impulso a la población blanca, ¿llega nuestro delirio hasta el punto de mantener abierto nuestro seno para recibir en él las arpías que más tarde pudieran desgarrarlo?


La supresión del tráfico de esclavos es no solo un testimonio del pensamiento antiesclavista cubano. Es, además, un compendio de cifras y análisis que ofrece mucha documentación sobre la formación de la etnicidad de Cuba.

Aquí José Antonio Saco analiza con datos abundantes: índices económicos y porcentajes de población divididos por razas obtenidos de los censos que hasta entonces se hicieron en Cuba.
