Digitalisierung ist der Megatrend des beginnenden Jahrhunderts, der alle Gesellschaftsbereiche durchdringt und rapide neu gestaltet. Als "glaserne Burger" geben wir in einem fur Demokratien unbekanntem Masse Daten uber uns frei - etwa als Nutzer*innen sozialer Medien, aber auch als Konsument*innen hinterlassen wir nahezu ununterbrochen digitale Spuren. Die rechtliche Flankierung digitalen Eigentums und die Frage nach dem Recht an verfugbaren Daten wird ebenso kontrovers diskutiert wie die Algorithmen, welche unser Leben in bislang unbekanntem Masse beeinflussen und formen. Auch die Wirtschaft sieht sich durch die Digitalisierung mit neuen Bedingungen konfrontiert: Revolutionare Veranderungen der Arbeitswelt stellen Arbeitnehmerinnen und Arbeitnehmer vor grosse Herausforderungen. Auf Unternehmensseite verandert das rapide zunehmende High-Frequency Trading (HFT) die Art, wie wir global miteinander Handel treiben, grundlegend. Doch zeigen sich auch grosse Chancen, "Wirtschaft" neu zu denken, wie etwa durch das Aufkommen digitaler Wahrungen (Bitcoins) oder der ortlichen Ungebundenheit von Markten. Was Nachhaltigkeit und Wirtschaftsethik vor diesem Hintergrund der Digitalisierung bedeuten, dieser Frage sind wir im Rahmen der Consulting Akademie Unternehmensethik 2015 nachgegangen. Die Ergebnisse mochte dieser Band auch interessierten Leser*innen zuganglich machen, die nicht an der Summer School teilgenommen haben, die Diskussion aber trotzdem verfolgen und weiterfuhren mochten.Das vorliegende Buch setzt sich aus Beitragen unserer Referent*innen zusammen, die im Rahmen der Consulting Akademie Unternehmensethik 2015 zum Thema "Digitalisierung" mit uns diskutiert haben. Gemein ist der Mehrzahl der Beitrage, dass sie von jungen Autor*innen stammen, die am Anfang ihrer wissenschaftlichen Laufbahn stehen, weshalb wir den Band unter das Motto "Impulse einer neuen Generation" stellen. Wir mochten ihnen ein Forum fur ihre Ideen bieten und den geneigten Leser*innen einen neuen Blick auf das Thema Digitalisierung und Wirtschaftsethik vermitteln. Hier Zusammenhange aufzuzeigen und fur die gemeinsame Verantwortung zu sensibilisieren, dazu will der vorliegende Band einen kleinen Beitrag leisten. Mit Beitragen von Wolfram W. Bernhardt, Hannah Helmke, Sylvia Hofer-Jendros, Lisa Hoffmann, Toni Kiel, Soren Lauenstein, Janina Sombetzki und Klaus Wiegerling.
