About the Book

Continue the quest of this riveting and spellbinding heroic tale of swords and sorcery in part seven of the 'Fair Folk' Chronicles. This extraordinary legend resumes as King Arthur is forced into battle with his half sister Morgan Le Fay. Using the sacred 'Ring of Avalon' and Wise Merlin's stolen oak staff she conjures her vast army of new Black Guard from the earth and the un-dead. Sir Mordred is lost unto the dark forces of Lord Pwyll of the 'Underworld' and the Shadow One's hatred for King Arthur couldn't be fiercer. How will the High King defeat this immeasurable enemy and more to the point how is it that the 'Fair Folk' have allowed this to happen? Will Wise Merlin the Enchanter have the power against the strong sorcery of the demon Lord Pwyll, will his magic be enough? With their constant gaze from the Crystal Castle of Avalon the 'Fair Folk' watch and observe the World of Men. They see all from the cauldron of the Queen of Norgales, but yet the High Necromancer Math Mathonwy seems to be holding back, when will he use his sorcery to stop Lord Pwyll and Sir Mordred's vast armies? Who is the Bird Knight that Sir Galahad the Grail Knight encountered and the Earth Elemental Seraphe? These two 'Fair Folk' are likened to 'Ancient Ones' who came before man, but they know of many more answers that man might question. Who are they really... read on... Now there is a new enemy in the house of Pendragon, one to which no man could possibly have realised. The adversary is a war of religion in the ranks of the 'Brotherhood' of knights but who instigates it? Will it be this that finally brings down the kingdom of the High King? With the loss of Excalibur, King Arthur is bereft without it. However Sir Accolon still holds it given unto him by Morgan Le Fay, but will the Powys Knight ever return it? Ever loyal to Morgan Le Fay Sir Accolon must now decide how he will play his hand and for the love of Lady Dana whose side shall he finally take up arms? This tale is bound in a cloak of the frightening supernatural and is a highly gripping legend like no other. Many tales within tales are told herein of death and glory and joy and sadness. The story of three worlds are told within, the mystical world of the 'Fair Folk' the supernatural lands of the 'Underworld' and the habitual world of men. Continue the quest in part seven... This brilliant re-telling of the timeless tales of King Arthur and his Knights is a "must read." Not only is the text vibrant and fresh, the author breathes new life into the characters and creates a world of harsh, brutal reality and enchanting, mystical sorcery. The epic novel is beautifully detailed, graphically portrayed and the writing is gritty, lyrical and erotic. - DPDOT.COM Such was my pleasure at reading this book that I was unable to place it back upon the shelf until I had partaken and consumed all that was within it. It took me out of my life to a different realm from which I was saddened to return. The magic and mystery enchanted my being, lifting me from the drudgery of day. So t'will be good to travel again whenever I need to be freed. - Chris Jackson Astounding books to read, so full of adventure and excitement! There is a lot of emotions and so much going on! The story itself is just amazing! I would thoroughly recommend it. There is a lot of sadness and tears and hope and glory. These books are a joy to read. - Tony Rowlett
About the Author: Sue Tooke Mangion-Cavarra published her first books back in 2008, but it has taken 12 years to write and illustrate her epic novels Swords and Souls, 'Fair Folk' Chronicles. Currently she has Part One to Part Seven of her remarkable tale published with Create Space and Amazon websites, with more elements soon to follow. Watch out for more of the 'Fair Folk' Chronicles and enjoy the diverse nature of these fantastic novels. You will be amazed to find that she has also invented an entire language for the mysterious 'Fair Folk' characters in her novel. The creation of such took an astonishing amount of time to master and complete, but easily readable and effortless to understand. It is estimated that the entire novel will be in nine or possibly ten sections of exciting, stimulating and exhilarating reading! Sue was born in Aldershot, Hampshire, England in 1959 but has lived in Northampton since 1985 where she brought up her two children who have since given her 6 grandchildren. Art and writing is her passion and once on a project she is hardly able to stop until it is completed. Writing this tale was an epic task but she thoroughly enjoyed the experience and will continue her passion as the sequels are nearly completed. She is also a renowned artist and has sold her artworks in Northampton Museum and Art Gallery and countless other venues in the UK. She has also created artwork for local music groups and her designs have been seen in Virgin Records. Also included in her talents are designs for tattoos and she produces bespoke artwork on a commission basis. She has taken part in 'live' Radio at BBC Northampton, UK, discussing her artworks and books and has also featured in local and international Newspapers and Magazines, including web based sites. Her greatest dream is to one day succeed in having her epic novel turned into a film of equally epic proportions. Everything is in the storyline, and if someone were to make a film of this novel he would need a talented special effects team! So if there are any producers / directors 'out there' she would be more than interested in your proposals!
