About the Book

"I have no faith. I have a sword."

A dispirited swordsman clinging to a sense of obligation. A rebellious priestess with an unearthly calling. Both forced into hiding for their sins, their destinies entwined together like the string on a hunter's bow. The sternest test of their lives is rolling inexorably towards them, and in a world of steel and death, who can stand against an evil so insidious it twists the very sanity of those who heed its call?

The Swordsman & The Priestess is a tale of love and betrayal, of duty and faith, and of what happens when a man of war and a woman of peace must stand together side by side.

About the Author:

I was raised on the bleak windswept moors of Devon, and amongst the rain and the cold some of my early memories include watching Excalibur and owning a copy of Jane's Assault Rifles and Light Machine Guns. This may go some way towards explaining the concepts and themes of my stories.

Much of my literary influence comes from the works of James Clavell and Anne McCaffrey. It is their worlds that have influenced much of my character-centric storytelling, where the characters occupy that special niche of being both real and so extraordinary that they bring to life the worlds they live in. My view of storytelling is that it should be both entertaining and worthy of reflection - I believe a book with no depth has little impact, but a book with no entertainment is a difficult read.

I live in Berkshire, England, with my wife, two kids and a dog. The dog can't read but likes to chew the paper books are printed on, thus making it an arbitrary and somewhat harsh critic of early manuscripts.
