Trotz ihrer sehr ahnlichen Elektronegativitaten sind binare Molekulverbindungen, besonders der hoheren Homologen der 14. - 16. Gruppe, sehr selten. Dabei besteht neben dem rein akademischen Interesse an derartigen Cluster- und Kafigverbindungen, auch die Moglichkeit zu einer Anwendung als Vorstufen zur Darstellung von Festphasen durch moderne Methoden wie dem MOCVD- oder dem Sol-Gel-Verfahren, beispielsweise in der Halbleiterindustrie oder bei der Darstellung von thermolektrischen Materialien. Im ersten Teil dieser Arbeit wurden Untersuchungen zu Verbindungen der Elemente der 14. und 15. Gruppe durchgefuhrt. Dabei hat sich die Brønstedt-Saure-Base-Reaktion eines primaren Silylpnikogens mit den Silylamiden der Metalle Zinn und Blei bewahrt. Dabei konnten Heterokubanstrukturen der Form M4E4 (M = Sn, Pb, E = P, As) sowohl bei Verwendung der tBu2PhSi- als auch der (Me3Si)3Si-Gruppe erhalten werden. Zusatzlich zu den P- bzw. As-verbruckten Verbindungen des Zinns und Bleis, gelang erstmals die Synthese und strukturelle Charakterisierung einer binaren Molekulverbindung der Elementkombination Pb/Sb. Die Reaktion von iPr3SiSb(SiMe3)2 mit PbCl2 in Diethylether fuhrt zu der Kafigverbindung [(iPr3SiSb)6Pb4]. In Anlehnung an die erfolgreiche Synthese binarer Molekulverbindungen aus Elementkombinationen der 14. und 15. Gruppe, wurde im nachsten Teil dieser Arbeit gepruft, ob auch Interpnikogenverbindungen zu erhalten sind. Dabei gelang die Darstellung von zyklischen Molekulverbindungen mit einem EBi2Cl-Ring (E = P, As) und einem zusatzlichen, exozyklischen Chloratom als Strukturmotiv. Ferner konnte das Dimerisationsprodukt [As(BiCH(SiMe3)2Cl)2]2 isoliert werden, bei dem unter der formalen Abspaltung von Disilan eine As2-Einheit gebildet wird. Der letzte Teil dieser Arbeit befasst sich mit der Synthese von silyltelluroverbruckten Hauptgruppenmetallverbindungen. Die tBu2PhSi-Gruppe hat sich bereits bei den pnikogenverbruckten Molekulverbindungen bewahrt. Daher wurden Untersuchungen zum Reaktionsverhalten des tBu2PhSiTeSiMe3 gegenuber den Metallchloriden der schweren Hauptgruppenmetalle durchgefuhrt. Dabei gelang die Darstellung einer ganzen Reihe an Verbindungen der Elementkombiantionen M/Te (M =Sn, Pb, Bi). Die ungewohnlichen Sn/Te-Verbindung [{(Me3Si)3SiTe}4Te2Sn4] kann dabei bereits als Zwischenstufe auf dem Weg vom Molekul zur binaren Phase aufgefasst werden. Die Verbindung [(tBu2PhSiTe)4Pb2] stellt daruber hinaus den ersten, uber eine Einkristallstrukturanalyse charakterisierten Vertreter einer binaren Molekulverbindung mit Pb-Te-Bindung dar.
