About the Book
Taking the Kingdom Code name, Taking the White House, started out as, attempting to take the White House, because i created a new White house that is un-takable, this whole idea is based on a series of dreams that I had over a series of about a year, in reality, this could never happen, but on paper, anything is possible. Taking the Kingdom is about two boys that are growing up in environments that don't agree with them, because they are not of the environment that they find themselves, and they become the best of friends, and after this, they go through everything together, one does not leave the other, but in this case, they don't have to be concerned with such. When one of them becomes the President of the United States, the other is placed as his right hand man, and both families are then moved to Washington D.C.The real fun starts when the Presidents kids are taken, and he decides to go after the people that took them, then come to find out that, the people that took them have been trying to find him for years.
About the Author: Joshua King was Born in Roanoke Rapids North Carolina, and moved to Richmond Virginia at a very young age, after attending all Richmond Public Schools, he then went on to Bible College in India, then to France, to Graduate School, studied abroad in Germany and in Israel. After completing his Doctoriate Program, he then went on to study in many places, then joined the Army in 1988, only to be sent home in 1989 because of a problem not his own. Upon getting back to Richmond, he found that everything that he had was gone, and he had to start life over again. he then was married, but was soon divorced, then went homeless for six months, starting over again, he went from rooming house to rooming house, only to find his way to a sleep spot in the brush near a river base. His common thoughts about life has always been; I love to Keep People Guessing. After getting a big break, he landed a job with a Temp service, then got a room at a motel, from there, he went into a rooming house, then finally was able to get an apartment, only to wake up in the Hospital one morning after having a heart attack, after leaving the Hospital, he then went to live with his parents for a year, then he landed a job, which started him on his road to a full recovery. Joshua met up with several authors and sat down with them telling them that he had always wanted to write a book, one of them asked, what's stopping you, he then said, life. another asked him if he had any ideas as to what he wanted to write about, he said yes, then, his ideas was, that, he would record it, but one of them had to write it, mainly because Joshua was paralyzed from the heart attack, his hands no longer could hold a micro phone to preach, but he still did it, he could no longer hold a pen, but he still had thoughts, so this is one of his stories.
