Sardische Sprache, Literatur, Landeskunde, Note: 2,3, Ludwig-Maximilians-Universität München, Sprache: Deutsch, Abstract: Im Folgenden befasse ich mich mitCantoXII aus Torquato Tassos GerusalemmeLiberata.Ich möchte an diesem Gesang beispielhaft Grundzüge des von Tasso entwickeltenpoema eroicoerläutern. Die Quellen, von denen ich viele Ansätze und Gedanken der Literaturtheorie übernehme, sind Werke von Güntert1, Regn2und Migiel3. Als weiterführende Literatur habe ich ebenso Ausschnitte aus dem Werk von Raimondi4, Petrocchi5, Bruni6, Zatti7und Looney8verwendet. Dabei handelt es sich um Autoren, die TasssosGerusalemme Liberataauf Einzelphänomene wie deren Thematik, Hauptcharaktere, ideologische Ausrichtung und stilistische Ebene untersucht haben. Grundsätzlich beziehe ich mich hinsichtlich einer möglichen Vermischung von Stilebenen auf Tassos eigenes Werk9. In meiner Arbeit beziehe ich mich bei der Beschreibung der beiden Protagonisten überwiegend auf die Forschungsergebnisse von Migiel, Petrocchi und Güntert, die bereits umfassende Analysen zu Tassos Werk und unter anderem zu den Geschehnissen desCantoXII derGerusalemme Liberatavorgelegt haben. Im Folgenden werde ich zuerst auf Tassos literaturtheoretischen Ansatz eingehen, dazu die wichtigsten Merkmale despoema eroicobesprechen und im Anschluss daran auf die Position des von mir behandeltenCantoin der Gesamtheit derGerusalemme Liberataeingehen. In diesem Kontext habe ich versucht, eine umfassende Analyse der Protagonisten des 12. Gesanges und ihrer figurativen Rolle in Tassos Werk abzugeben.
