Tango als Metapher in Bewegung für die Ideale der erotischen Liebe. Aber auch als Spiegel von Persönlichkeit und Charakter der Tanzenden sowie der Muster tatsächlichen erotischen Verhaltens und Kommunizierens. Dieses Buch, das durch Vermittlung der Schriftstellerin Luise Rinser 1999 erstveröffentlicht wurde, ist bisher das einzige, welches detailliert Wesen und Technik des Tanzes mit Blick auf deren tiefen Symbolgehalt beschreibt. Der zweite Teil durchstreift die universale Ideenwelt des Eros, die sich wie Tango in Sehnsucht, Hingabe, Verführung und Erlösungskraft manifestiert. Die Erstausgabe, mittlerweile ein Klassiker der Tangoliteratur, wurde in mehrere Sprachen übersetzt. Zu diesem Buch gibt es auch ein Unterrichtsbuch. Den Tango erklärte 2009 die Unesco zum immateriellen Weltkulturerbe der Menschheit.
About the Author: Ralf Sartori ist Tangolehrer, Tänzer und Veranstalter. Er tanzt den Original-Tango vom Rio de la Plata seit 1988, beriet und horeographierte für Film- und Fernsehen (z. B. für die Ufa-Filmproduktion) und gehört zu den Pionieren der Münchner Tango-Szene, wo er 1994 seine erste Schule gründete. Zudem unterrichtete er drei Jahre Tango auf Schloß Elmau und arbeitete mit Schauspielschülern an der Bayerischen Theaterakademie des Prinzregenten-Theaters unter Leitung von August Everding. Er ist Autor von bisher fünf Tangobüchern, von denen ein Titel bereits in drei Sprachen erschienen ist, und seit 2014 auch Herausgeber dieser weltweit ersten Tango-Buchreihe in deutscher Sprache beim Münchner Allitera Verlag. Derzeit Weiterbildung in Systemischer Paartherapie (Istob / München). Mitbegründer der Reihe Tango in Sozialtherapeutischen Kontexten.
