The Thanks You Get by Corey B. Collins is an exploration of human behavior and the driving force behind people's actions.
Hank Goodman is drawn into a mystery involving one of the wealthiest men in South Florida, Benjamin Beasley, and an old college acquaintance, the lovely Sonia Sanataria. The three become embroiled in the search for Beasley's long-lost brother, Barnaby, while navigating a myriad of disruptions in their path. Woven seamlessly throughout the novel is the theme of families, however defined, and the ties that bind them.
Ultimately, the author hopes to encourage readers to contemplate whether there really is such a thing as coincidence and whether people, with all their faults, are naturally inclined to do the "right thing" as they define it in their lives.
