MESALLIANCE, Erstausgabe 1995 beim Verlag Felix Bloch Erben in Berlin, war mein erstes Theaterstück in einem Theaterverlag überhaupt. Sozusagen mein erstes Baby in einem Verlag, was vielleicht erklärt, warum ich es jetzt noch einmal überarbeitet habe und neu veröffentliche.Das ist ein Teil der Geschichte, nur bin ich nicht so sentimental, mir allein aus diesem Grund die viele Arbeit zu machen. Nein, dieser Text beweist auch heute noch seine Relevanz, um ihn guten Gewissens dem interessierten Leser oder dem auf der Suche befindlichen Regisseur als einen interessanten Vorschlag zu unterbreiten.Beim Überarbeiten konnte ich vor allem wieder die Ironie gut leiden, die schon meine erste Urfassung prägte. Ich hoffe, dass ich sie nun noch forcieren konnte. Dieses Melodram ist also alles andere als eine bierernste theatralische Abhandlung über das schwierige Leben und Überleben in der sich neu definierenden Hauptstadt.Allein die vielen unterschiedlichen Perspektiven eröffnen jedem Leser neue Sichtweisen und dem Inszenierenden viel Freiheit jenseits von platten Botschaften.BERLIN STADTBAHN, 1997 ebenfalls im Verlag Felix Bloch Erben erstmals erschienen, setzt das im Prinzip fort, was ich in MESALLIANCE begonnen hatte.Wenn man früher mit dem Zug durch die DDR nach Westberlin fuhr, fand sich als Ankunftsort nicht etwa der Name eines Bahnhofs auf dem Zugticket, sondern schlicht der Aufdruck "BERLIN STADTBAHN".Eine Metapher auf die Stadt, die ihre so unterschiedlichen Bezirke im drei Minuten Takt miteinander verbindet. Vergleichbar dem Boulevard, wo sich zufällige und geplante Begegnungen in vielfältigen Situationen abspielen.Dieses Stück wurde zwar nie als Boulevardtheater gelesen, aber es ist nichts anderes, nämlich vor allem Kommunikation über Befindlichkeiten auf dem Hintergrund von großstädtischer Anonymität und Austauschbarkeit.Zwei originelle "Berlin-Stücke" von Volker Lüdecke.
