Jahrhunderts, Note: 1,5, Universität Stuttgart (Institut für Philosophie), Veranstaltung: Seminar: Von der "Schwarzen Pädagogik" zum Lob der Disziplin (EPG II), Sprache: Deutsch, Abstract: Diese Hausarbeit beschäftigt sich mit der Streitfrage, wie Bildung und Erziehung zu sein haben und zu verstehen sind. "Der einzelne Mensch ist in der Dynamik der großen kollektiven Mächte hineinverflochten, hat jedoch trotz dieser schicksalshaften Verflechtung sein je eigenes, unableitbares und unaufgebbares, mit persönlicher Verantwortung und Entscheidung beladenes Sein" (Reble 1999: 369). Dieser Zusammenhang ist als existentielle Aufgabe zu bewältigen und muss anerkannt werden nach Theodor Litt. Die Erziehung soll dem Menschen dabei helfen durchzuhalten bei anthropologischen Spannungen und Einseitigkeiten und Selbsttäuschungen verhüten (nach Reble 1999: 369). Der Erzieher soll "Anwalt des Geistes" als auch "Anwalt des Kindes" sein. Das heißt, er setzt sich auseinander mit der geistlich geschichtlichen Gesamtlage und er zwängt dem Kind nicht seine Haltung auf. Weder führt er noch lässt er wachsen, sondern er führt in die "Welt der Werte, Gehalte und Aufgaben des Kulturlebens" ein (Reble 1999: 371). Um die demokratische Grundordnung zu schützen benötigt man Haltung und die Einübung des rechten Stils, die durch politische Bildung vermittelt werden soll.
