About the Author: Adams has worked writing in various media over the past forty years under several names: Jose Velayas, Dean Wilson, and most recently as Joseph S. Coleman. He has been a reporter, playwright, screenwriter, and featured article author. His work has appeared in the Los Angeles Examiner, New Morning Weekly, LA Weekly News, Folkscene Magazine, Saludos Hispanos, webzines and a wide variety of RPG imprints. His love of radio theater associated him with Radio Heyoka (Los Angeles), American Radio Theater (Hollywood), and the Invisible Radio Theater (San Francisco). His radio programs were heard on KPFK in Los Angeles and several stations in the Pacifica network, plus a syndicated network around the United States. He headed a workshop system for new radio writers, actors, directors and sound effects artists through the American Radio Theater in the late 1970s, and taught radio writing at the first Midwest Radio Theater Workshop for KOPN and Stephans Colleges in Columbia, Missouri in 1980. His stage plays were produced around Hollywood, CA, and in Houston, San Francisco, Atlanta, Anaheim, Seattle, Chicago, and other small theater communities. "Living in the House of Angeles" premiered as a fund-raiser for Lutheran Social Services at the Miyako Hotel in San Fracisco in the fall of 1989 and the staged reading was used as a fundraiser for local-AIDS charities in across the United State during 1990.
