About the Book

English summary: The Titanic is the parable of human vulnerability. David Brunat explores the reasons why the Titanic resonates still and so much with modern society. He argues that the technological, economic, and moral crises of our times are reflected in the race for gigantism, speed, profit, and records embodied in the myth of the Titanic.
