Universität Flensburg), Sprache: Deutsch, Abstract: Kinder müssen bei einem Trauerfall angemessen begleitet werden, damit sie verstehen können, was geschieht und sie mit ihren Ängsten und Fantasien nicht allein gelassen sind. Schon frühzeitig mit Kindern über den Tod ins Gespräch zu kommen, wird in der Literatur als guter Weg beschrieben, denn vielfach sind Erwachsene, besonders Eltern, aber auch Lehrkräfte, in konkreten Verlustsituationen emotional betroffen. Manchmal sind sie aber auch unsicher und können Signale der Kinder nicht richtig einordnen und sie in ihrem Trauerprozess nicht angemessen begleiten. Zu Beginn der theoretischen Grundlagen im 1. Teil der Arbeit geht es um die Definition der Begriffe "Tod" und "Trauer", aber auch "Körper", "Geist", Seele" und "Auferstehung". Sie werden in Bezug auf das Alte und Neue Testament näher betrachtet, um anschließend die Entwicklung eines Todeskonzeptes, die Trauerphasen und -aufgaben als Grundlage für den späteren Hauptteil der Arbeit zu beschreiben. Der Umgang mit Tod und Trauer in der Gesellschaft unter Einbeziehung theologischer Aspekte steht im Mittelpunkt des 2. Teils der Arbeit. Nach einem Entwicklungsüberblick über den Umgang mit Tod und Trauer in unserer Gesellschaft werden die drei orthopraktischen Thanatagogikbereiche nach Plieth vorgestellt: Familie, Gemeinde und Schule. Im anschließenden Hauptteil dieser Arbeit werden dann am Beispiel des Bilderbuches "Leb wohl, lieber Dachs" von Susan Varley die Themen Tod und Trauer im Religionsunterricht der Grundschule durch die praktisch-theologische Analyse des Buches anhand der Kriterien nach Plieth beschrieben. Es folgen einige unterrichtliche Möglichkeiten, auch unter dem Stichwort "Orthopraktische Thanatagogik in der Schule". Weitere methodisch-didaktische Anregungen in Bezug auf Unterrichtsgespräche, eingepasst in die Kriter
