About the Author: Prof. Dr. Ansgar Zerfaß ist Inhaber des Lehrstuhls für Strategische Kommunikation an der Universität Leipzig sowie Professor in Communication and Leadership an der BI Norwegian Business School, Oslo. Der promovierte Betriebswirt und habilitierte Kommunikationswissenschaftler ist zudem Herausgeber des "International Journal of Strategic Communication" (USA) und Plank Scholar am Plank Center for Leadership and Public Relations an der University of Alabama. Für seine Forschung zur Unternehmenskommunikation, Wertschöpfung durch Kommunikation, Evaluation, Digitale Kommunikation sowie Internationale Kommunikation wurde er vielfach ausgezeichnet, u.a. in New York mit dem Pathfinder Award des Institute for Public Relations. Der von ihm initiierte European, Asia-Pacific und Latin America Communication Monitor analysiert die Entwicklung des Kommunikationsmanagements in über 80 Ländern und gilt als weltweit größte Studie im Themenfeld. Ansgar Zerfaß hat bislang 34 Bücher und über 300 Beiträge sowie Studienberichte in mehreren Sprachen veröffentlicht, darunter bei Springer das "Handbuch Unternehmenskommunikation" (Gabler, 2. Auflage 2014), "Communication Excellence" (Palgrave Macmillan, 2017), "Organisationskommunikation und Public Relations" (Springer VS, 2013), "Unternehmensführung und Öffentlichkeitsarbeit" (Springer VS, 3. Auflage 2010) sowie bei anderen Verlagen u.a. "The Routledge Handbook of Strategic Communication" (Taylor & Francis, 2015) und "The Management Game of Communication" (Emerald, 2016).Sophia Charlotte Volk ist Wissenschaftliche Mitarbeiterin am Lehrstuhl für Strategische Kommunikation der Universität Leipzig. Sie ist außerdem Projektleiterin im Forschungsprogramm "Value Creating Communication" der Akademischen Gesellschaft für Unternehmensführung & Kommunikation und forscht in den Bereichen Wertschöpfung durch Kommunikation, Kommunikationssteuerung und Evaluation. Ein weiterer Schwerpunkt ihrer Forschung ist der State of the Art der international vergleichenden Forschung innerhalb der Kommunikationswissenschaft mit der Zielstellung, Qualitätsstandards für die komparative Kommunikationsforschung zu entwickeln.
