About the Book

A Million Lives have passed since my entrance into this universe.I have lived on, life after life, death after death, through uncounted episodes on enumerable planets and civilizations through a myriad of circumstances, each one erasing itself from my memory, each life beginning again as blank slate - the only commonality, that I am once again reborn, trapped in a new body with an old psyche, seeing through its myopic humanoid eyes and senses, believing only what information can pass through the circuits of an artificial mechanical mind. Until at last I met Professor Espree and was introduced to the Universal Viewer and through it was revealed the insidious practices of this universe that have lead me to my demise. As we explore this universal internet I am presented with disturbing scenes of the devious, often excruciating methods used to manipulate a natively free being into a malleable, carnal state where he will accept the rules, sciences and philosophies of this control driven universe and become an unknowingly obedient slave to it.With each new view in the Universal Viewer comes the déjà vu of my past. As I confront the corresponding memory in my mind, the shroud of amnesia slowly evaporates and I become free of the constraints installed by these incidents so many eons ago.Espree and I now wander free in this and other universes, not longer bound to the cravings and the anxieties of a corporeal body, no longer threatened by death or pain - our lives no longer separated by divisions of living and dying. Now a million lives have merged into a single life that will continue on forevermore, complete with full knowledge of and due vigilance to the traps that once brought about my enslavement.
About the Author: I have spent much of my life studying the human mind and spirit. My studies have always been based upon observation rather than on authorities and opinion. My youth was spent on sports and on the outdoors - much of it with my father - wandering through the beauty of the high mountains, feeling the tranquility of the outdoors and the sense of adventure that comes therein, only to return to the dissonance and conflicts, the rules and regulations of modern civilization. And I believe because of that, I developed a rather exterior view of life. I began writing in the mid 80's. Back then I was literally writing as a professional calligrapher and my works adorn many a wall with a favorite saying or poem. I became skilled at the art of 3D modeling in the field of mechanical design for engineers - which was rather ironic as my purpose was not the technical expertise and accuracy they required, but rather, whether or not the models I created were beautiful - which is the artist in me. I got away with it because my models WERE beautiful and because I grudgingly spent the required time to add the technical details that satisfied the requirements of the anal mind of an engineer. Knowing that my real purposes were somewhat deviant in the field of engineering, I began writing in the mid 80's as an outlet for my creativity and my desire to communicate what I have learning in the field of the mind and the spirit and because my life would never be believed unless it was written down on paper. My fictional stories are always based upon an important social theme but rather than being dogmatic and philosophic, I create a story that is interesting and add to it hyperbole and humor. My non-fiction is hilarious and self-abasing - much like I am myself on a good day.
