The year is 2334; twenty years has passed since the evil Shadow Nod as well as the 2 Gorgon's Jacob and Pap were destoryed by Ashley and her friends. Ashley and the residents of New Hope and Sunset have enjoyed years of peace and quiet with only a few bumps in the road as time moved forward. However, evil has reared its nasty head once more, but past events may hold the key to stopping a possible devastating future. In preparation for what the future holds; Leon was trained many years by a being from his future, which no one beside him could see. His training was watched by the young people; how strange it was for them to see him talking to thin air. Salvation for their future, home and friends pushed him to learn all that he could. Who is the evil one or ones they need to track down? Can this evil be someone they know or is it new to them altogether. John Rogue one of the orginal Choosen Ones and his adopted daughter Tyla who was at one time a Gorgon with the tail of a snake, and the upper body of a human. Her race had evoled from the old race, which had snakes for hair to the way they look now; a head full of hair, but still having a snake tail. She now has human legs with he help of magic, and looks totally human. She, and her adopted father seach for her long lost mother, who was turned into a stone statue centuries ago. A man by the name of Ron Bowman stumbles across a portal in the countryside one day. On the other side of the portal opening was a world of wonder, which he could have never thought really existed. Upon entering that world he saw creatures, which did not live in his world; they were strange and some very dangerous. Races lived here that he had only seen in movies; as well as dragons of all kinds. What is his roll to be in this new world; called Realm 299? Could he be here to help prevent evil from destroying this wonderous new world, and possibly all the other Realms? Some old faces will show up along the way. Ride the rollercoaster and find the answers to the questions. Read on those answers await. About the Author: About the Author James. M. Fields I was born in the City of Scottsburg in Scott County Indiana, 1956. I have lived most of my life here; except for a short-lived stay in Eastern Kentucky shortly after my birth. Dad wanted a job other than working in the coal mines; so we moved back, and this is where we stayed. My sisters and I attended the Scott Co. School District all through our school years. Shortly after graduation; I began working at Arvin Ind. at North Vernon Indiana. My dad worked there, which made it nice on the long drives to work which was an 80 mile round trip a day. I went through a lot of layoffs while at Arvin, but that goes along with the auto industry. After 12 years of service the union went on strike; I stuck it out with them for almost a year, and then had to find a job somewhere. After two small jobs I ended up working for Multi-Color Corp on January 20, 1992, and have put in 21 years now. My wife also works for Multi-Color; so we see a lot of each other. My wife and I between us have 5 children, all adult and they have children of their own. We have 9 grandkids, and one more on the way. The oldest was 9 in March. I used most of their names in the books as some of the characters. I think I caught some of their personalities in a few of them. These four books in my Tracks of the Dark Wing series has been a fun ride. I owe my friend Darrell Morgan and his Xbox Live smack talk, the biggest thanks. He sparked this story, on February 14th, 2007, and now its June 2013 four books later, thanks Darrell. My sister Deborah Kersey has been waiting for me to get this last book done she hasn't gotten to read much of this one ahead of time. I want to thank her for supporting me in my writings.
