About the Book

Philosophy is sitting down to talk to the meaning of life.

Love, success, hope, sadness, joy, surprise, but also money, work, security, solidarity, inventiveness, are aspects of human life that overcome the possibility of a completed definition, because they acquire full meaning only in relation to a globality that escapes our rationality, which perceives them as a never definitive reflection. For this reason Wittgenstein had placed them largely beyond the confines of the speakable.
In the present work Wittgenstein is mentioned very little, coherently with his dictation (Tractatus logico-philosophicus, 6.54), but, taking up something of the linguistic richness dashed in Philosophical Investigations, we start exploring that second part of the Tractatus, intentionally not written by the Austrian philosopher, but clearly attested in his letters. Ours will therefore be a navigation, unauthorized, among the islands of reason, in the seas of life, under the sky of the Absolute, guided by the clarifying light of freedom. A book of philosophy, at the service of the individual and his existence.
Index of the book: 0) On the threshold, 1) In search of the source, 2) The sun and its rays, 3) From the source comes freedom, 4) Adam and Eve, 5) The tower of Babel, 6) Signs of the times, 7) Revelation.
