A retired Congressman knows he is dying soon and decides to confess what he did while serving in the House. The retired man believes in God and knows his day of judgment is close, so he wants to admit his sins as a way of asking for forgiveness for all of the damage he has done.

A reporter listens to his story. The old man helped to orchestrate the demise of American freedoms turning the nation into a third world country by giving the land, tax money, and assets to those who weren't citizens. The Congressman, along with many others throughout the government, sold their people out to foreign countries while making themselves rich beyond belief. All of the children had been taken by the Administration and now performed as government issue. Working with many corporations and tech firms, the communication systems were taken over to give citizens the news the government wanted the people to believe while ignoring the truth.

The old man gazed into space wondering why American citizens stood by and did nothing. The people either became puppets and believed or lived their individual lives not carrying what the government did.

The reporter shook his head as he thought about how his country looked now. All assets and money had been taken from the people to support the traitorous government. Food and goods, when available, were purchased at government owned warehouses with credit given to those who worked every day on jobs assigned to them. And, of course, he thought about the labor and rebel camps where people were taken who objected to anything the government did. The people had waited too long, and now they were lost and had become servants of their own immoral, communist government.

He, like many others, believed deep down inside that they could create great change in the world around them. The reporter knew that those who wanted to transform things could achieve the impossible. But most often, the voice inside telling them to take action, make a difference, and care about others was ignored. The prospect of some ridiculing them, members of humanity canceling them because they didn't believe in all of the wicked wants of outliers in society, or a government with evil intentions got in the way of fighting for the ideals and morals that must be restored for a free nation. Instead, the people walked away from what must be done and the beliefs that must be fought for, and inaction became the norm.

Finally, a group of these special people took that deep seated belief and did something with it. These people became focused, determined to change what was wrong and create what was needed without fear of repercussions, and willing to believe in God and risk all.
