About the Book

Identifying and understanding yourself is the key to growth. "Trichotomy: this is me" by Esskei is a poetic examination of being a three dimensional human being. Spirit, Mind, and Body. Take a trip with Esskei and see yourself poetically
About the Author: Have you've ever wished that you could close your eyes and when you open them, it would make everything better? It would be nice, but we can't. Esskei (pronounced S-K) feels that he can. The escape he feels when he creates has become his addiction and it makes anything possible. Just like the honesty and passion that came through the keys of Stevie Wonder's piano, or the brilliance and depth of Sly and the Family Stone Fresh, to the genius of Michael Jackson and showmanship of Prince and finally the spirituality of Hezekiah Walker and his Love Fellowship Crusade Choir. Music's heart has made Esskei the artist that he is. Trichotomy: this is me is the first book of poetry by Esskei under the Hevhanli Soul banner and is sure not going to be the last. Trichotomy: this is me allows the reader to take a deeper look into the heart of Esskei as he bares it all. From his sexual exploits and fantasies, to battles with love in the chapter Soma, to his spiritual connection to the creator and this earth which Esskei affectionately calls home. There is a clear struggle that ties him to himself, "Not knowing where you fit into society can be a weird and awkward place..." As Esskei fights to over come his ego before it consumes him. You'll see his fight in poems such as Crucified "I need to scream, I want to cry and run far away. To just curl up and hide...", or in - "...releasing frustration with balled fists, as they grab the closest object. Ready to sling in repetition those objects at the person suppose to be a mentor..." Esskei describes his moment of weakness as he fought his kid brother and feeling a sting of shame. This is only the first of many books to come. Trichotomy: this is me is a beautiful work of 107 pages that allows you to flip through the earlier life of Esskei and journey into a world of honesty, betrayal, torment, sexuality, spiritual questioning and love. Stay tuned as Esskei is looking to soon take the stage and your hearts, so in preparation as he says keep your "Fists Up, Feet on the Ground" and "Peace, Love & Respect! Bless"
