Anna Goldberg hat sich ein altes Haus in Altkünkendorf gekauft. Um ihren Traum zu verwirklichen, schmiss sie ihren stressigen Job als Marketing-Managerin hin und arbeitet nun als ökologische Haushaltshilfe. Zu ihren Kunden, die einen bewussten Lebensstil pflegen, zählt der Diabetiker Ronald Heidkamp. Sie mögen einander, auch wenn sie sich gelegentlich in die Haare kriegen. Eines Tages wird die ländliche Idylle durch einen Todesfall erschüttert. Die Polizei glaubt an einen Unfall, Tod durch Insulin-Doping. Als Ronald Heidkamp ebenfalls stirbt, kommt Anna jedoch ein schrecklicher Verdacht, und sie beginnt auf eigene Faust zu ermitteln. Schon bald stößt sie auf merkwürdige Vorfälle in Ronalds Vergangenheit. War er doch nicht so liebenswürdig, wie er schien?
About the Author: Kena Hüsers lebt als freie Redakteurin in Brandenburg. Im Januar 2019 beendete die gebürtige Bremerin ihren ersten Krimi mit dem sie ins Finale beim Krimi-Wettbewerb einzog. Im Mai 2019 brachte sie ihr Kinderbuch heraus. 2019 ist sie pro agro-Botschafterin im Bereich Kunst und Kultur. Mit einigen KooperationspartnerInnen organisierte die Autorin die Woche der Sprache und des Lesens in Angermünde. Im September 2018 gewann sie den Ehm Welk-Literaturpreis. Im selben Monat hatte die Angermünder Theater-Stadtführung Premiere, für die die Schriftstellerin die Handlung der historischen Szenen schrieb. Sie ist ebenfalls als Darstellerin und organisatorisches Mitglied fester Bestandteil des Ensembles. Im Mai 2018 erschien ihr zweiter Roman. Drei Jahre zuvor hatte sie ihren Roman Mondrausch veröffentlicht. 2016 hatte ihr plattdeutsches Theaterstück Premiere im Kreativhaus Berlin. Im Zuge des Volksbegehrens zum Tempelhofer Feld in Berliner erfand sie kleine Geschichten um die Nachteule Miela herum, die ihren Lebensraum auf dem Feld verlieren sollte. Zu diesem Zeitpunkt lebte Kena Hüsers noch in Berlin-Neukölln. Von 2013 bis zu ihrem Umzug 2015 nach Angermünde gehörte sie zum festen Team der Neuköllner Kiezzeitung Kiez und Kneipe. Ihre plattdeutsche Kurzgeschichte Un ik sitt so op´t Tempelhofer Feld erschien 2014 im Magazin Quickborn.
