About the Book

For this present world, human suffering and painstaking progress have fought. Now, the new order makes us equal: from birth to death, we are all citizens with fundamental rights. Bitter injustices and inequalities live on, but the prince and the pauper both end in the same urn. Nevertheless, some believe that money, fame, and success are not mere pieces of fortune, but contingencies for power. Mario Campaña, through reflection and philosophical arguments, opens a necessary inquiry and debate about the authentic nature of our democracies.

A nuevo señor, vasallo nuevo.
