Studienarbeit aus dem Jahr 2019 im Fachbereich Germanistik - Neuere Deutsche Literatur, Note: 5,5 (Schweiz), Universität Bern (Institut für Germanistik), Veranstaltung: Goethe als Komödienautor, Sprache: Deutsch, Abstract: Die Arbeit untersucht Johann Wolfgang von Goethes Lustspiel "Die Mitschuldigen" im Kontext der literarischen Darstellung von Schuld und ihrer didaktischen Implikationen. Das 1768 konzipierte und später mehrfach überarbeitete Werk thematisiert ein dichtes Netz sozialer und moralischer Schuld, das die Figuren in ihrer typenhaften Konstellation gefangen hält. Goethe, der das Stück zeitlebens schätzte, scheiterte jedoch daran, es zu einem erfolgreichen Theaterstück zu machen, was auf die inhärenten stilistischen und inhaltlichen Konflikte zurückzuführen ist. Im Fokus der Analyse stehen die Strategien Goethes zur Evokation von Komik und Schuld sowie deren Auswirkungen auf die didaktische und moralisierende Funktion des Textes. Trotz des Potentials zur gesellschaftskritischen Reflexion verpasst Goethe die Chance, durch Figurenempathie eine moralische Katharsis beim Publikum zu induzieren. Dies resultiert aus der Kollision verschiedener literarischer Formen und der Entdidaktisierung des Stücks. Zentrale Forschungsfragen der Studie sind: Wie wird die Schuld von Goethe psychologisch und interaktionell realisiert? Warum lässt sich Goethes Schreibgestus als entdidaktisierend und unmoralisierend klassifizieren? Wie ermöglicht Goethe dem Leser, sich empathisch in die schuldbehafteten Figuren hineinzuversetzen? Welche Veränderungen wurden in der zweiten Fassung vorgenommen, um die Schuldthematik zu akzentuieren? Wie betreiben die Figuren Schuld- und Vertrauensmanagement? Die bisherige Forschung hat Goethes Werk vor allem hinsichtlich biographischer Elemente, strukturanalytischer Gesichtspunkte und literarhistorischer Relationen untersucht. Diese Arbeit erweitert den Diskurs, indem sie eine Poetik der Schuld kontextualisiert und deren didaktischen Nutzen prüf
