This sequel to Doctor Jac's Rough Waters finds naval intelligence officer Michael Holmes on his toughest missions: Top Gun sniper, Vietnam combat, Hong Kong death squad, Shanghai arrest; all the time wondering if his beautiful, brilliant Grace will wait for him.
Michael is a spy for the US Navy. An all-American, plainspoken, resident of North Dakota. Relishing the opportunity to travel the world, his missions take him throughout Asia Pacific: Vietnam, Hong Kong, Shanghai, and Hawaii.
Grace Donaldson, nee Liu Chan-juan, escapes the Cultural Revolution with her family to Hawaii, she marries a naval pilot/party guy. Grace wants to be a good wife, but her husband's womanizing ways sour the marriage. She's trapped by her family's traditional views. When she meets Michael, he's a breath of fresh air in her stagnant life. Before they know it, they're in love. But Michael still has a primary duty to his country. The navy wants him focused on the mission. Now Michael and Grace must find a way to reunite before it's too late for them both.
Like the works of Clive Cussler and Robert B. Parker, Undaunted Lovers is a volatile, winning combination of adventure and romance.
