Sauvée de l'oubli par le gentil Vent d'Ouest, Unico continue d'aider les autres, avant de devoir échapper à nouveau à Vénus et de se lancer dans une nouvelle aventure.
Dans ce premier manga, Unico se réveille dans un pays mystérieux et se lie d'amitié avec Chloé, une chatte gardienne pleine de ressources, qui se sent protectrice de la jeune licorne. Lorsqu'elles se retrouvent près d'un petit village dans la forêt, elles se réfugient chez une vieille femme aimable, mais sans défense. Pour prendre soin d'elle, Chloé supplie Unico de la transformer en fille humaine, mais cet acte de bonté a des conséquences imprévues: l'amour d'Unico a réveillé Vénus et son serviteur Byron... qui veulent détruire la licorne et sa protectrice!

In this first manga, Unico awakes in a mysterious land and is befriended by a resourceful watch cat, Chloe, who feels protective of the young unicorn. When they find themselves near a small village in the forest, they take refuge with a kindly, but helpless, old woman. To take care of her, Chloe begs Unico to turn her into a human girl, but that act of kindness has unforeseen consequences: Unico's love has awakened Venus and her minion, Byron, who want to destroy them both!
